Why isn't my email verification code arriving?
If an email OTP or confirmation message has not arrived, check the basics first. Delays, address mistakes and service restrictions are more common than they appear.

First: make sure the address is correct
A single mistyped character can prevent delivery. On SpeedMail, select Copy address rather than typing the full random address manually. Paste it into the destination service and make sure there are no accidental spaces. If you used New address, previous mail sent to the older address is no longer accessible through the new inbox.
Allow some time for delivery
Verification mail is often fast, but external sending systems may queue messages or retry delivery. Wait briefly before requesting another code. Sending many consecutive requests can trigger the sender's cooldown or rate limits, causing further delays. Do not repeatedly refresh the entire page: SpeedMail checks your inbox approximately every 15 seconds, and Refresh is available for manual checks.
Check that your mailbox is still active
A countdown appears next to the Inbox header. SpeedMail starts new inboxes at 60 minutes. If you expect a delayed message and still have an active session, choose 5, 30 or 60 minutes and tap Extend time when that will increase the time remaining. A single address can last up to three hours from its creation. Once expired, messages to that address can no longer be read.
Check whether the sender accepts disposable mail
Some services reject temporary email addresses for account creation or verification. If the sender's sign-up policy requires a permanent address, use one. Do not try to circumvent service restrictions or create accounts you are not authorized to access.
Look inside the received message
SpeedMail lists new emails by subject and sender. Open a message to read its plain-text body. When the message contains a simple numeric code, the page may display a possible OTP and a Copy code button. The detection is only a convenience: always confirm the code belongs to the website you are using, and do not share it with someone else.
Why some messages may look different
Incoming HTML may be converted to readable plain text. Embedded pictures, complex formatting and attachments are not offered in the SpeedMail inbox. Some messages that depend entirely on graphic content may therefore look incomplete. If a sender only provides a link or attachment for verification, follow the sender's official instructions and avoid handling sensitive or irreplaceable accounts through a temporary inbox.
Troubleshooting checklist
- Confirm you copied the full address ending in
@speedmail.world. - Check the timer and whether you have replaced the address since sending the email.
- Wait a short period, then use Refresh to check for new mail.
- Check the sender's policies and whether the service accepts disposable email.
- If no message arrives, try a low-stakes test using a sender you control. Do not use banking, payment or recovery emails for temporary-inbox tests.
- If the problem continues, submit a description through Help & Support. Include only the temporary address if relevant, not the OTP or sensitive mail contents.
Frequently asked questions
Will the inbox show attachments?
No, SpeedMail currently stores and displays incoming text only.
Can I recover an expired inbox?
No. Use a long-term address for accounts where you may need future sign-in or recovery messages.
Can I send a message back to the sender?
No. SpeedMail provides incoming email only.
Do repeated refreshes help?
The inbox auto-checks while your page is active; repeated rapid refreshing does not make the sender send an email any faster.
